Initial success or total failure is the motto of the EOD units in the armed forces and sums up my intentions and comittment to what I'm doing, even if I feel no support coming from above. Either you do it right the first time or why bother trying?

I guess that's part of what upsets me so much about the current situation. I want to do more and I'm held back with that, to me, sound like stupid bureaucratic crap. Granted, when looking at things from the bottom of the food chain is different than from the top but it still annoys the hell out of me.
